Rajeev Ranjan is an Indian social activist, currently living in Germany and working at welwärts program of The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Germany. Under the program, he is placed at Riesa efau at the department of International Summer Academy, Dresden, Germany. In India, he was working with DHAN Foundation as a Regional Coordinator for Jharkhand region, India.

He is a graduate in computer science and post graduate in development management from the Tata-Dhan Academy. He has over 5 years of experience in development work. He was instrumental in setting up PIN CoPoVo. He has specialised in community organisation, designing development interventions in the fields of natural resource management, livelihood promotion and institutional development. He has travelled extensively within and outside India and has wide experience on these themes.
His areas of interest are institution building, bringing technology at grassroots, leadership development and promoting various development themes for poverty reduction.
